Pin-Up Hot Rod

This 1935 Ford is a nice example of a nostalgic hotrod. It was built and is driven by a local gentleman. He came in with the idea for a WWII aircraft style pin-up girl to add a nice custom detail to his suede rod.

We were originally browsing through classic pin-ups for inspiration but Armstrong’s majorette turned out to be exactly what the owner had envisioned. as it turns out this is an Underground Chopper tribute to Earle Armstrong one of the genre’s classic artists.

After we knocked our heads together on the location and size for the mural He chose a pin-up originally painted by Earl Armstrong in 1938. The patriotic air force majorette was period correct, and fit the military theme the owner of the car was looking for.

Not to mention a very cool addition to an already classy ride.
