This 1976 superglide has been among friends since it was new.  It has been affectionately been referred to as the "Grey Mare" since before I even knew it existed.  In the spirit of that tradition the tank was decorated with the flaming grey mare and the tip of the front fender was pinstriped and lettered "ol grey mare".

All the tins are vintage but as usual we cant leave well enough alone so we added several upgrades. The front forks are chromed 39mm units from a 94 FXR in a set of wide glide conversion trees.  The wheels are chromed 80 spokers.

The enclosed primary was shelved in favor of a 3" open belt drive and the stock 4 speed was replaced with a 5 speed. This bike is still among friends and is bound to stay that way so more mods are on the way; we will post updates as they are completed.
