This bike is a 2006 Special Construction. We started with a DNA Softail style frame with 1" of backbone stretch and 35° of rake. It rides on a 2" over springer frontend and Progressive Suspension Shocks lowered by 1" in the rear. It is powered by a 96" S&S engine and driven by a Milwaukee twins 5 speed.
The frame was designed to accept a 180mm rear tire, but a good score on a set of 60 spoke rims and new avon rubber (including a 200mm rear tire) forced us to modify the frame to gain the extra 1/4" offset needed for the 20mm wider tire. We still run the full 1 1/2" drive belt.
GMA Billet brakes at both axles not only do a great job of stopping the bike, but they look fantastic. Chrome matching rotors and pulley compliment the look of the spokes.
The Indian Primary gets us more than a few double takes and is a slight departure from the typical softail cover; not to mention it came complete with a high performance Barnett clutch.
Custom sheet metal includes a front fender of our own design, built from hand laid fiberglass and this 2" stretched 4.3 gallon tank. This flame job consists of 5 colors and includes the stunning holographic top set of flames.
The rear fender is a UGC built strutless fender that we built one of our custom sissy bars into.
