This bike is an '05 Suzuki Boulevard. On this job we were able to showcase more of the new and exciting custom paint products you may have seen us mention on other bikes. This particular job has a product called Spectra F/X on it.

We used a little fade trick on the background in order to create the illusion that the background is color shifting as well even though it is just standard base coats. In this photo you can barely tell that the bike has any flames at all.

From this angle you can see the flames appear blue with hints of green in the darker areas.

Spectra F/X is an intense color shift flake that provides a "flip-flop" effect more dramatic than most color shift paints can provide. As you look over these photos notice how at some angles the flames appear green and at other angles they appear blue. At some points of view they appear to blend into the background color. You may think that this is incredibly expensive, however, one of the exciting things about this new material is the affordability of this effect.

Yet here they can be seen clearly shimmering blue.

From the opposite side you see the brilliant emerald. We once again used the pinstripe talents of Steve LeBlanc to accent the flames in bright blue and to prevent them from taking on a "Ghost Flame" look. Keep an eye on our work in the future for more from Steve.
