This bike is an example of a more extensive and detailed paint job with some minor customization to the sheet metal. Some new and exciting materials were incorporated into the scheme on this '02 Road King.

One of the sheet metal customizations is the addition of this west coast choppers "Roller" front fender. It has a nice wrap around and the tire hugging look that separates this bike from the seas of similar Road Kings on the road.

The Crystal F/X is difficult to make out in the photos so we have a test panel available to take a look at here at the shop. The product creates a pattern in whatever base color is used that looks like the thin crystals of frost and ice that forms on frozen windows.

It is impossible to reflect all of the details and special effects in a photo, but you can gather how the graphics flow from the front of the bike to the rear in a linear fashion. One pretty neat effect is that the seat appears to be pinning the graphics beneath it and the graphics seem to continue out from under the seat to the side covers and down the saddle bags.

This shot shows the flames weaving in and out of the tribal graphics. Also the effect of the black "breaking up" into a sea of Orange Candied Crystal F/X as if it were ice )one of the new and exciting materials integrated into this job).

Also difficult to make out in the photos are dozens of hidden skulls flowing through the flames. To bring the rear fender into the paint job we used the same technique used on the rest of the flames on the bike to create the flames engulfing the screaming skull mural. To get this little mural on the fender we eliminated the fender tip and shaved the fender tip mounts.
