This bike began as a 1979 Sportster. We installed the sporty engine in a CMH frameworks dropseat rigid frame featuring 4" of down tube stretch. The 6" over springer is hung from the neck at 36° of rake.

Despite its simple appearance the sheetmetal is heavily customized. The tank is salvaged from a wrecked Bourget Bike Works Beach cruiser, it has been sectioned, shortened and the mounts have been totally reworked. The rear fender is an aftermarket 9" fender for a big twin rigid that we sectioned and reversed for this Sportster application.

Some of the one of a kind custom touches include the UGC fabricated seat and the custome built disc brakes in the rear. The rear brakes consist of a tokiko 6 piston caliper, squeezing a ductile iron vented brake rotor, that rides on a UGC built custom brake bracket. The fasteners for the rotor as well as the aluminum sprocket are hidden by custom built 4" hubs.

We modified the frame to accept Softail style forward controls that are otherwise unavailable for Sportster models. Both Brakes are anchored by solid stainless steel brake rods with stainless spherical joints.

The rear wheel is a three piece Aeromach wheel (16"x5.5") with a 200mm avon tire. The front wheel is the classic 21" 40 spoker. Notice the custom built exhaust system.
